A Budget-Friendly Scent That Wows
I recently picked up the Al Haramain Detour Noir Eau de Parfum Spray (3.33 oz), and it’s been a delightful surprise! This unisex fragrance is a warm, spicy amber blend that feels luxurious without the hefty price tag. The opening bursts with fresh notes of apple, jasmine, and lavender, giving it a crisp, inviting start. As it settles, the heart of vanilla, patchouli, and bergamot adds a smooth, cozy depth, while the base of sandalwood, cardamom, and guaiac wood leaves a lingering, woody finish that’s both sophisticated and comforting. It reminds me of a chilly fall evening, perfect for date nights or casual outings. The longevity is impressive for the price—about 6-8 hours on my skin with moderate projection, though some reviews note it fades faster in colder weather. The 3.33 oz bottle is sleek and feels high-quality, with a fine mist sprayer that applies evenly. Many compare it to Parfums de Marly Layton, and while I haven’t tried Layton, Detour Noir stands strong on its own as a versatile, crowd-pleasing scent. A few users mention it can feel too sweet or floral for their taste, but I find it well-balanced and unisex, leaning slightly masculine. For anyone looking for an affordable, long-lasting fragrance that punches above its weight, this is a gem! Let it macerate for a week for the best scent profile

Strong and complex fragrance!
It took me a while to write this review because I wasn't sure what to make of this fragrance. This is my first oud fragrance so I didn't know what to expect. This is a strong, oud forward, complex fragrance that might not be for everyone. The first scent that I noticed was a strong lavender citrusy sweetness; then the oud becomes prevalent. The best way I can explain oud is that it is like a warm musky woody scent; it kind of smells like sweet warm sweat TBH. This oud scent is present throughout the entire development of the fragrance but its more prevalent towards the middle of that development. Finally, a sweet woody powdery scent takes over for the rest of the fragrance's development: it's soft, warm, and pleasant. When it comes to performance, I got a solid 8+ hours of longevity with a strong sillage for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. This is a strong fragrance and you can easily overdo it.The bottle is kind of weird looking, and cap can be a bit hard to put back on ( it only goes on in one direction.) I have accidentally sprayed a couple of times while trying to put the cap back on. It's not a big deal for me, all I care about is the juice inside. At first, I didn't quite get the fragrance, its like nothing I've used before, but I ended up liking it. I would say that, if you can sample it first, do so, but at this price point I think it's worth the risk if you like oud fragrances.

Super fresh and a bit floral
I bought this cologne because it was supposed to closely resemble PDM Layton which honestly I hadn't tried but I've heard they make some of the best colognes out there so I thought I'd give this a try considering the price. This was a complete blind buy so I don't want to knock too hard but it really just wasn't for me. This scent is fresh but sweet and a little floral and it reminds of a well put man in a business suit. That being said, I really don't like that style of cologne that is light and fresh, but I will say out of all the fresh colognes I've tried here recently that I ended up not liking, this one was the best of the bunch. It reminds me a bit of Boss Bottled #6 which I didn't like at first but then it grew on me. I compared the two and they are not the same really, but Boss bottled has that vanilla, floral freshness going on too. Projection is good, my wife did actually like it, but she didn't love it. It's just not my thing but I gave it 4 stars since it appears to be a good quality, fresh scented cologne.

Long lasting after dryDown
Long lasting, and everything you'd hoped it would be, kinda reminds me of green woods, fresh, and kinda spicy

The quality is definitely there
I own Parfums de Marly Haltane, and this is a wonderful complement to it. While it doesn’t smell exactly the same, it’s definitely in the same refined genre. I’m so glad to have added this to my collection. This is a fragrance I would buy over and over again — warm, inviting, and very special. The quality is excellent; everything about this fragrance feels mature, sophisticated, and incredibly well done. Truly fantastic!

Great fragrance, cheap bottle spray
It’s an excellent fragrance however I only awarded 3 stars because the spray top came off in the second week.. I purchased another bottle because the fragrance is very good.. I was careful when I spray so as not to pop the spray top off a second time and I noticed that the perfume leaks out of the top.. it works but it’s not sealed properly resulting in leakage on to the finder you use to depress the spray top.. I also noticed the price increased.. I’d this the result of the tariffs? Darn these unnecessary taxes

Instant addiction
I remember smelling PDM Pegasus exclusif at the duty free and instantly liking it. This helped me scratch that itch. It’s a cozy, warm, and spicy smell that’s really addictive. Definitely worth the money.

Smells familiar but good!
Smells good, but somewhat familiar. Blind buy because of reviews. Sweet, slightly woody slightly floral; but Nothing is Over powering . Well blended! This is a Nice One and….has a Pressurized Atomizer! Always a Win with a Pressurized Atomizer! I like this!
