I was fortunate enough to get the original legit version. Features the J321 GM Tube. Detects the radiation in my smoke detector well. Stock product does not have clicks.If you get the original version, it's good for the little money you pay.Upgraded mine with custom firmware and now got clicks and higher detection rate.

There's several reasons not to buy this counter I've been searching for a good quality budget geiger counter for a while this is the third one I purchased the other two were cheaper than this one but this is actually the worst. Firstly this product is manufactured by a different factory than the company who contracts production out this means there are a lot of clones that have very poor quality parts inside being made at the same factory as the original product you don't know what you're getting, secondly this (the genuine one) is three times less sensitive than the cheaper counter shown in photo two I paid £20 for! It looks nice but that's the end of positives for this product. It has no scatter sound (clicking noise on particle detection)It's a piece of trash imo just be warned the best budget counter is the Bosean FS-5000
