Has three light intensity modes PLUS a super bright mode, but it makes the light get super hot so don’t use it. Also has an emergency flash mode. Fits well on my big-ass head and adjusts up and down. Very handy and has a rechargeable 18650 battery. Highest quality.

Great gifts for handymen and hunters. The batteries recharge fast and seem to last forever. This is my third one because my son takes mine for tracking deer and getting into duck blinds early in the morning as well as putting out decoys. Can’t recommend it enough. I have 8 to be given out as Christmas gifts so everyone will leave mine alone. Have one in my truck and shop at all times as well.

It's an excellent headlamp for the price. The battery life, the USB-C rechargeable 18650, the selector dial and direct-to-low/turbo modes. But the quality is lacking. It feels good in the hand, but a bit heavy on the head (not a problem unless you don't like the band being snug). The anodized aluminum also has pits in random spots. Some on the outside, some on the threads, and inside the battery compartment as well. Which leads me to the 2nd quality issue: There is a connection (I'm assuming the actual power to the LEDs) that has a small area routed out of the inside of the battery compartment to allow the lead to go directly from the positive battery connection to the LEDs. That wire is coated, but it is directly exposed to the battery when removing and replacing the battery. On mine, it will actually stop the battery from being inserted unless I rotate the battery a quarter turn or so. I don't know why that is, as the battery should be perfectly round, but that's how it is.You can see their intent to route a channel that was large enough to tuck the wire safely away from the battery, but it just isn't working quite the way they wanted it to. Which creates a moderate failure point.Other than those 2 complaints, it works like a champ. Haven't tested the waterproofing but they have to have gotten the approvals to list it as IP67, which means it passed with an IP67 score. That's good enough for me. It's bright, sturdy, and 40 hours of battery life on low (which is surprisingly bright) is great battery life. Just wish they stepped up their quality control and design a bit.Photos show the wire and pitting. The black spots on the threads are not dirt. The pitting is less noticeable externally, but still present.

The rechargeable, and the light is great

I like the light, and I'm a big fan of nebo's stuff but, this headlamp is FAR TOO HEAVY. It puts out great light, the controls are very easy to use but, it feels like I have a hammer on my forehead. I wish they had just kept the rebel headlamps. I have two of the rebel headlamps, the weight of those is barely noticeable, this is like having 3 rebels on my head. Also, having to remove the battery to charge it was a poor choice, no consideration for the user taken on that choice. Unfortunately I'm out of the return window at this point because I was at the supply house the other day and found a headlamp for $18 that I don't even feel on my head, that is easily as bright as this. Very disappointing, do better nebo.

These GENIUS headlamps are amazing. I felt a little disingenuous about writing an actual review, as we sold this product in our stores we had owned for over 40 years.That is no longer the case. We sold out in January & I purchased these thru Amazon.I mowed close to an acre of grass two nights ago in the dark, dark mountains of the eastern US with no other lighting but this headlamp.I switched back & forth from full blast to 2/3 & they both performed brilliantly. I’m 51 YO & wear glasses, so my vision is far from perfect, so please take this into account.In my camping & hiking travels all over the Appalachians (“app-uhh-latch-unns” 😉) I’ve tried practically all of them, with all of the gimmicks & these straightforward powerhouses are the best - PERIOD.

Used to visit old cemeteries at night. Very helpful feeling & finding my way out when the devil is chasing me.

This is my second Nebo headlamp. I keep one at work and one for recreational. Worth every penny compared what else is out there.
