DecoArt Americana Metallic Lustre Jar Of Paint, Acrylic, Gold Rush, 15 x 10 x 2.50 cm

We got this product to paint a leather pony bridle (because you can only catch a unicorn with a golden bridle). The results were simply amazing from just one application. We applied the product with a sponge and the result was perfect: a good metallic gold. It was surprisingly unmessy and what little I got on my fingers washed off very easily with soap and water. Massively exceeded my expectations.

Plenty of product left for other project

This was a real disappointment as the colour is akin to cheap bling and no where near the colour depicted online......even allowing for discrepancies in colour rendering.......... and to add insult to injury it was applied to a 2 week old plaster moulding, allowed to dry for 3 days and it still wiped off leaving bare plaster visible, unlike my Connoisseur wax which is totally bomb proof and saved the day.Marks out of ten minus 100. So if you have a rough idea as to what you are doing avoid this like the plague!!!!

Nice colour if a little dark bit difficult to use as quite thick

This stuff is really cool, and a little bit goes a very long way! I have never used luster wax before and didnt know what to expect, its like a super thick paint with fantastic results. I got a kitschy turtle lamp for free and decided it would look a lot better in gold (it was gray) and i am so pleased with the results! I've attached photos of my project, the texture of the lamp was from its previous paintjob so all of those brush strokes and little bumps were already there, and from afar it has a nice brushed metal appearance. I used 2 coats. I'm eager to try it on a smoother surface for a shinier effect

Beautiful product.Excellent colour.Easy to apply.As per another reviewer, I applied(patted it on) with a small brush to the edge of a resin table I made, then rubbed with a soft cloth.

Aconsejo tomar la precaución de probarlo antes de aplicarlo a la pieza definitiva. Hay que tener cuidado de no aplicar demasiado porque te puede quedar un pegote. Utilizar muy poquito e ir añadiendo poco a poco. Una vez que le coges el truquillo, el resultado es perfecto. Además, el producto cunde muchísimo. Creo que esta cajita me va a durar años.

Ho usato questo prodotto per fare delle finiture dorate su della vernice nera lucida, praticamente una specie di bronzatura, è stato facile e veloce da utilizzare, ne sono molto soddisfatto.
