Didn't work for me. I'd heard that silver coils ...
Didn't work for me. I'd heard that silver coils kill bacteria in your system because silver... kills bacteria. I was a bit skeptical because i couldn't see how a tiny amount of silver would kill all the bacteria in a water cooling loop. And ii guess i was right because after about 6 months (i used distilled water just to clarify), the reservoir was full of scum and foam. When i took the water block apart and serviced it there was a lot of gunk clogging the copper fins on the waterblock (which explained the higher temps from my system). So for me it didn't work at all. I now use biocide and so far it seems to be doing the job.
