Q: My almost 4 year old can play sleeping queens. Would this game be too advanced?

It may be a little advanced for a 4 year old. There are enhancements you can use to sway the game in your favour. In my experience 4 year olds aren't devious yet! There are also 3 ways to win a card relevant to your hand, so does need some thinking. It is a really good game so even if too young now you will have it ready for in a few years!

Sorry not heard of sleeping Queens, my 9 year old enjoys it I think my 11 year is now finding it boring. He enjoyed playing it more with his cousins. It’s more about the cards and luck of the dice. Sorry I couldn’t be any more help!

Q: Hi, do players play against one another or is this a cooperative game?

You can easily play collaboratively (e.g. cards face-up so that you can help young/inexperienced players with decisions, choose not to have a winner based on points) but the official rules are on the Gamewright website and say the following:The game ends with either of these scenarios:1. Both dragons have been defeated, or2. Two Adventure decks have been played through.(In (In this case, every player gets one more turn.)All players total up the victory points on their captured creatures. Then compare the amount of creature cards each player captured. Whoever has the most gets a bonus of 3 victory points (Ties get 2 victory points each). The player with the highest total wins. In case of an overall tie, the winner is whoever captured the Orange Dragon.

Definitely not, it is a great game and my 14 and 11 year old still play it...and I like it too. (I'm 49 )
