Copper is vital for our bodies and liver is one of the best ways to get it! I travel a lot so this is the perfect way to take it when I’m on the road.I do notice a bit of a spike in energy after taking them so be careful taking them late at night! But excellent in the morning and throughout the day!

I love these. They give me so much energy. I was taking Vital Proteins beef liver for awhile but they do not work as well. I'm vegetarian but I am ok adding these since they keep my b12 levels up. I sometimes break it up by taking 3 capsules in morning and 3 for an afternoon pick me up.

Ancient Nutrition is a trusted, well known brand. The bottle is very detailed but Ancient Nutrition and Dr. Axe have really informative websites about health, nutrition, supplements, etc. I've used them many times and have been impressed with the clarity and information. When I first opened the sealed bottle there was a little odor on the cotton packing but unless you're Buddy the Elf you're not ingesting that!. :) The capsules are a typical size, no smell or taste and easy to swallow. The largest ingredient is 6 mcg of B12, which according to the label, is 250% of the daily recommendation. Iron is second at 6 mg, 33% of the daily recommendation. The third is Ancient's Liver Blend and last is the probiotic Bacillus coagulans, which is a good bacteria used for constipation or diarrhea. As with any supplement, what works for someone else, may not be right for you. This supplement caused me to have more bowel movements, which I needed, but I backed the dosage down. Speak with your health care professional and try it for yourself. I prefer to start a supplement at a lower dose and work my way up to the recommended dose while watching for side effects and I don't start any other medications or supplements until I'm at the recommended dose or the dose that works for me for several days with no side effects. As for long term benefits, everyone is different and getting the nutrients from food is always best but there is no smell or taste with this supplement, it's manufactured by a well known and respected company and it's convenient.

Good value

I personally cannot handle eating organ meats, but there is so much information these days about how we miss out on so many nutrients by not eating them. So I'm really glad that there are supplements for them that I can take. These Ancient Nutrition brand supplements have kind of an intense smell, but I think that's normal for these supplements, and probably a good sign that it's the right supplement. This does require 6 capsules for one serving, but I have just been taking 4 each day. There is a bit of an energy boost after taking these. I haven't had any problems or issues with digestion after taking these, and I feel like this is a quality supplement.
