Can't be without it
The scent is perfect. I use for hand soap in kitchen and bathroom and also the best if you have any issue with stinky armpits

Best soap good smell
I love this soap. I have used it for 3 yrs. Everyone with a strong nose tells me I smell good if I use this soap everyday.The other soap this company has, the green one, is pretty good too but I like this smell a little better.

Fabulous Scent
I love this, it's my favorite soap. I used to buy it at a local health food store, but we moved. Since then I've been lucky to find it on Amazon. I love the scent, feel so clean after a bath or shower!

Mystery of Missing Sandalwood
As other reviewers have noted, some batches of this soap smell more like sandalwood than others. I have a bar from a batch I purchased at my local food co-op (box circled in left in photo). This bar has way more sandalwood scent than the one on the right which I purchased from Amazon. So try looking for the one on the left. Also note that the one on the left was purchased in 2019 but packaged in 2015. The one on the right was packaged in 2017.On the other hand, I found the newer bar to be even more moisturizing. I use this soap for both body and hair, and it works great.

Great smelling soap & good lather
I really like the smell of this soap and purchase it all the time. It lathers up really well. Amazon always seem to have the best price when purchased in bulk.

Smells soooooo good!!
This bar has a really nice fragrance. It's not necessarily a feminine or masculine smell, it's just a really nice smell. I don't like to wear cologne or use lotions, but I do like have some kind of nice scent after showering. Other soaps may smell nice when you hold the bar to your nose, but their fragrances almost completely rinse away. The Chandrika has a nice, mellow sandlewood scent that remains with you all day. It also has the added benefit of making my bathroom smell nice too. I looooove this stuff.

Nice but fragrance is not for me.
Very strong fragrance too overpowering for my tastes. Sorry to say I had to toss it.
