Q: i have the latest bios 2023 in my msi b450 tomahawk do i just put this ryzen 5 5700x with no problen or do i need to flash the bios

You need to update the bios to a version that supports the cpu. Once you do, you cannot use your old cpu.

Better than Intel

I have used both AMD and Intel in the past but when it comes to gaming I believe AMD is better. Club it up with a RX series GPU and enable SAM and it performs better and cheaper. Other personal experiences may very but I would stick to AMD processors.
