These are great kits for anyone wanting to start to learn to crochet. I’ve completed 4 of this brand of kit so far. I think the penguin is the perfect kit to start (although I did the bunny first). The penguin is easy enough to do.What I like about Woobles:• The kits come with a pre-started magic ring with your first 3 stitches marked.• The videos are broken into tiny chunks with each step explained and easily watched as many times as necessary.• Most supplies come with the kit, but you will need a pair of scissors.• I’ve never run out of yarn and have always had a decent amount leftover.• You get the pattern when you sign up for their website and can print and make as many more penguins as you want with different colors and styles of yarn. So buy the kit once, make it as many times as you want.Things that could be improved:• A pre-printed pattern card would be nice for anyone that doesn’t want to rely solely on the videos. (Yes, I know you can go into your account and download the pattern, but it would be nice if included). Bonus points if it’s laminated so you can use a dry erase marker on it. I’ve seen this in another kit and that was a game changer for tracking progress.• I’ve seen several other kits include a set of scissors. That’s been nice, especially when they work.• I’ve seen other kits include a bent needle and that would be helpful to add as I find it easier to maneuver.• I’ve seen other kits offer both weighted beads and stuffing and that’s been a nice touch. So far, the kits that I’ve done from Woobles only have stuffing.• Price: compared to other kits, these are on the higher end and do not appear to go on sale or are only discounted 10% or so. I’ve seen other kits, which include more and have decent videos to follow for about $100 less and go on sale 30-40%.Overall: I do love these kits and all of my plushies have turned out great following the instructions provided.

This was my first time crocheting, and I’m left-handed. It was super easy, and the videos were detailed and explained everything very well. I really appreciated that there were left-handed tutorials as well, because most kits don’t have that. It was a little overpriced, but a fabulous way to get started. All the designs are super cute. I love my little Pierre!

This is what started my love of crochet! The instructions are so clear, it took me a few days to do Pierre in about 20 minute chunks, but might have taken an hour and a half if I sat and knocked it out? Such a great product or gift for anyone looking to start a new hobby or have grandkids learn how to crochet with you!

OK, this is my first ever time crocheting I honestly love the instructions are very clear but after getting to my fourth row, I discovered a knot in the yarn so I cut off my piece and I love the yarn so I decided to use the yard for other projects so I used YouTube tutorials and the yarn, hook and all the materials made it really easy for me and I am thinking of purchasing a New kit since I know most of the stitches and will not start from zero experience great for beginners though I’m sure not all the kits have a knot in it therefore it gets four stars.

good and easy yarn to use! if you follow the videos given then it's actually pretty easy to learn. i messed up a few times and restarted but it was all worth it in the end 🙂‍↔️ i already ordered my next one to start!! this was my very first time crocheting anything ever btw!!

I was looking for a fun and creative activity and came across this adorable kit on social media so I had to try it! The videos are super easy to follow, and the kit even comes pre-started, which is apparently the hardest part, so it really sets you up for success. I love that if you ever get stuck, you can take a picture of your progress and reach out to their support team they’re so helpful. I’m obsessed with this kit and will definitely be ordering more!

This is the basic kit to start with if you are new to crochet, or haven't been able to get the hang of it. I tried crocheting a few times before with books, but didn't get it until this kit. I'm glad I started with the blue penguin because that is what all of the intro videos use to teach the techniques. The videos are short and bookmarked, so you can easily go back and rewatch them. They are very clear. By far the best I've seen. The kit comes with everything you need to make the cute toy except scissors.

U need access to internet to do instructions. So if u r in plane with badw wiifii won't work
