Q: Is the 1 inch UV protected? Can it be used outside?

I am using this inside. The color has held up. I don’t think it’s uv protected and the color will probably fade over time outside.

A little disappointed.

I ordered this product to install on top of a gate in order to prevent rain water from penetrating the cut surface. There is very little give in the product but with some fiddling and grunting it finally gave in and allowed me to install it. I would like it better if there was a bit more flex in it and if the sides were 1/2 inch rather than 1/4. We will see how well it stands up to rain and snow.
