Best fish feeder for vacation. Easy installation. Very study and battery works great. Love how you can set the amount of food that drops to assure not to over feed the fish.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:We were headed out of town for a week and my son needed something to feed his fish. We returned today and the fish are ALIVE! He has a cover on his tank, so we wanted one that sat on top of the lid and not on the edge. We set it for feeding 2x a day. So easy to set up and worked perfectly! It runs off a battery.

Works very well and easy to program; however, there is a knob directly under where the food comes out of. It traps fish food on it. I used painters tape over it and it helped quite a bit.

This little guy is so slick! I set it up 2 days ahead of leaving for my trip! It can mount or sit on top anchored down with a really good sticker pad. You can preprogram the times to feed or manually feed your fish when home. It is the greatest find!

Seems to work just fine. I had to decide where to put it on my 40 gallon tank. At first I thought I would just lift the front lid, so I put it there. When it was feeding time, fish were splashing water out of the tank, so I repositioned it by cutting a slot in the back part of the tank, opposite the filter and was able to keep the tank lid closed.

Why did they ruin a very good feeder by mounting it on a cheap plastic mount? There is no way to secure it to the tank. By the end of the first month, I was trying to hold it together with superglue, and even that couldn't keep the plastic from breaking. It happened to both feeders I foolishly bought. Please don't make the same mistake!

Battery life is good, adjustable feed slider and multiple times per day as an option. Nice feeder for price. I have two. One for flakes and one for pellets
