Best Halogens
They are longest lasting brightest halogen best beam pattern I’ve found. Not white but more usable light than the whiter ones. I drive from before sunset to after sunrise so I go through bulbs and I’ve tried them all. I actually wish my low beams could use an led because the bulb bill is extremely expensive nowadays

These Philips upgrade bulbs are like the factor new
I was driving home from a VA eye appointment and stopped on Hwy 80 by a local CHP officer, He mentioned I had a bulb that was out on the passenger highlight. So I purchased these an got my fix it ticket written off. That are really brighter than the factory bulbs. Speedy delivery as always with Amazon, Thanks

Works just as it should.
Looks good, fits good, functions good, dunno about the lifespan, easy to install, and great quality.Very bright but not blinding, a good upgrade from OEM. Worked in my 2004 GMC Denali. One of the lights went out soon after installing, but I believe this was a one off thing to me as the other bulb is still running strong.(I wrote a longer review but hit refresh by accident and I'm too lazy to retype it all.)

Better than LED - Here's why (2011 Corolla)
First I bought high powered LED replacements. My hope was that they would bring the benefits of LEDs in lower power consumption, long life and brighter output. I put them in and ooo they looked sparkly bright! But... when it got dark, it was a different story. In order to get the brightness, there are many source locations on the bulb. It seems that the reflector is designed for a point source that matches the 9005 bulb format. The reflectors spread the LED light in the wrong direction and basically made a really dim high beam. It was hard to tell the difference from low to high beam. So, while the LED fit in place and was bright, it did not project in the correct direction. The small amount that did point properly was very dim compared to these bulbs. So, I quickly returned the LED and bought these which are very bright,

Like pop corn
My light bulb went out on my Mazda CX-9. This was very easy to install. Very very easy I started ordering other parts thinking I was a mechanic lol. Save me money by doing it myself. And was less expensive than AutoZone or some other auto place that you can walk in and buy. Was worth the wait to do it myself and saved about 130-52bucks for a manual labor and repair

I did a Sylvania/Philips test
First of all, as a test, I installed SYLVANIA - 9006 SilverStar Ultra in a 2002 for the low beam. At the same time, I installed Philips Automotive Lighting 9005 on the high beam. Tested both, both worked but the low beam is a much brighter light and is much more crisp. I will soon be replacing the Philips with the Sylvania 9005. As I sad, it was a test so I knew from the beginning that more than likely one of the two would be replaced but Sylvania beat Philips hands down, no contest.

Brighter than OEM
These bulbs are much brighter than the original equipment on my Elantra. Now I can see the road even in the rain!

Great bulbs, if you like BORING
I installed this set of headlights in my car, and I cannot notice ANY difference at all. I had the Sylvania 9005 installed, and notice nothing different in brightness. I don't think that it is worth the extra money to pay for a so-called "upgrade" headlight bulb. Just my opinion. Although, I can tell you that if you put LED lights in your car, you will notice a tremendous difference! I have them installed in my high beam headlights, and going from halogen headlights, to extremely bright headlights, it is simply amazing! Save your $20-25, and pay a little extra for LED headlights, and you'll thank me later! Trust me, if I could have kept my LED lights in my low beam set up, I would have, but they just do not work in my low beam reflector, because I have "projector type" headlights. No bueno. My high beams are good to go though! I put LASFIT 9005/H3 lights in my car, and I LOVE THEM! Try them, you'll see. Check out my before and after photo, you can definitely SEE THE DIFFERENCE!!!!! Happy shopping!
