I wanted to replace my plastic bottles. These seemed to be the most popular option and I can see why. I was worried about the durability of glass bottles but these have held up great in the sterilizer and transfering straight from the fridge to bottle warmer. I love how the nipples do not leak and the flow is neither too overwhelming or too slow for my five-week-old. Also the parts are easy to clean without a complex venting system. Super happy with this purchase.

Glass quality is great, nice and thick. I appreciate the fact it comes with the silicone sleeves to help protect the bottle. We typically use the smaller size bottles for our 8 week old but will use the larger ones as he increases his milk intake. Nipple seems to be good size for breastfed baby but the flow seems to be a little fast for him. No issues with nipple confusion but he doesn’t get bottles too often as I’m on maternity leave.

I’m a first-time mom and was very overwhelmed with all the bottle options, but I’m so glad I chose these. They’re easy to clean, excellent quality, and my baby feeds with no issues. I also noticed she doesn’t get too gassy, which gives me peace of mind since it feels similar to breastfeeding. I definitely recommend them!

The Philips Avent 8-ounce bottles are fantastic! The flow of the nipple is just right—smooth and steady, so my baby feeds comfortably without frustration or extra air intake. The fit with the nipples and lids is secure, so no leaks at all. In terms of functionality, they work perfectly with both formula and breast milk, and fit well in my bottle warmer and diaper bag. I love these bottles. It was important to me that we used glass bottles instead of plastic bottles and I was having a surprisingly hard time finding glass bottles in general, let alone ones that were reasonably priced. These fit the bill. The I started with the mixed size pack and as our baby started increasing her milk intake we repurchased the pack with just the 8oz bottles. My baby took the bottle right away and switches from breastfeeding to bottle feeding very easily, she hasn’t had any nipple confusion. I will say I’ve heard the slope on the nipple on these isn’t ideal for breastfed babies but when I tried switching the nipple to the lansinoh nipples the nipple was much too loose and leaked milk. Ive heard these are also compatiable with the evenflo wide neck nipples but I ended up just sticking with this brand of nipple because as I said my baby hasn’t had an issue with it. I will say that my baby likes to hold her bottles now while she eats and obviously the glass bottle is a bit heavier so she still needs support but the curve of the bottle makes holding the bottle easier for her and myself. I’ve also dropped these a couple of times and have had no issue with them breaking. Overall I’d highly recommend these if you’re looking for a reasonably priced glass bottle option.

Glass just feels so much safer and more hygienic.One thing to be aware of: the standard nipple size that comes with the bottle is a size 3, which was too fast of a flow for my 6-month-old. I highly recommend ordering size 2 nipples instead if your baby needs a slower flow.The bottle keeps the temperature really well—sometimes too well. I often have to let it cool down before feeding, which just shows how insulating the glass is compared to plastic.My baby switches easily between breastfeeding and these bottle nipples with no confusion or difficulty, which has been a huge plus for us.They’re super easy to clean, hold a generous amount of milk or formula, and truly feel worth every penny. If you're looking for a safer, long-lasting alternative to plastic bottles, these are it.
