Stains and smells
The second you touch it the black od the seeds fades off and stains everything

Nice, but...
Overall, these faux watermelon slices are really cute. I ordered 4 sets for a project and even with the poor rating, I still plan to keep them because they are a perfect fit and only 1 side will be visible. That said, it was very disappointing to see the poor quality paint job. More than 50% have defects with highly visible smears of green or black paint. I have come to expect better quality from products available through Amazon.

Too small
The pieces were too small for a display. Texture is great but the product looks fake. I wished the seeds were removable and the slices were larger. Definitely not child proof too easy to swallow
