We installed this in our house for the toddlers safety on the stairs. Pretty simple install with basic tools. Keeps our little guy safe, and we have trust that it’s fully secure in the wall. Easy to use and has shown nowhere and tear after about six months. When opening or closing make sure the baby fingers are not on the bars because they can’t get pinched

It works as intended. But the screws keep coming loose

We purchased this gate to provide safety for when our granddaughter is here. We love this high-quality gate. It was very easy to install. It's also very easy to open and close. It has a distinct click that lets us know that we've latched it properly. We mounted it to the top of a staircase. While we have never done so, we love that there is the option to easily remove the gate part when our granddaughter isn't here. We've never done so because it stays closed nicely even without being latched. When our granddaughter isn't here, we just leave it unlatched. It also looks nice, so we don't feel the need to remove it. This is a sturdy heavy-weight gate that will serve us well for many years to come.

We used to have a gate with the bottom bar that destroyed our walls. This gate is a big upgrade. It's much easier to open and close. Yet our grandkids can't open the gate. I had to cut the bottom to allow for the baseboard. Since the gate is wood it's easy to modify. We mainly use the gate to keep our dogs corraled. Everyone that uses these gates comment on how much better they are than the previous gate. They are ready to remove by lifting while in the full open position. And they stay open when needed. The template provided makes installation easy. We have used the gate for a few months before I reviewed. Couldn't be happier

this gate was the best purchase after many sub par metal gates and their cheaply made but this looks great and is excellent quality. the ease of installation is amazing and takes about ten minutes at most. no damage to walls like non wall mount gates.its easy to open and close and would fit most oversized wider doorways and openings as its adjustable. best buy in gates

Not a big fan. Not very sturdy and seems like it would break if a big toddler ran into it, and the adjustment foot never stays in position so it just ends up dragging on the floor.
