Removes ALL make up, even on eyes and leaves skin feeling great

I’ve used Alaffia before.. I bought some for my daughter and it cleared up her skin and I used it just because it was in the shower.. so when I needed another bottle I went and found Alaffia on Amazon and this one is a bit different with coconut oil and I use it for removing my make up and it’s fantastic getting all my make up off and not leaving me with Rocky Racoon eyes from my mascara. The coconut oil is gentle for my older skin. I’m really pleased with this particular skin cleanser. I have expensive skin cleansers but this one works better.

I have been working my way thought some facial cleansers. I tend to not like drug store brands because of the many chemicals they contain because of mass production benefits of getting the product on so many shelves in so many stores, so I tried this cleanser. It's not bad. I do find it doesn't always take off my sunscreen with then first wash and I do have to let it stay on a bit longer, just sit on my face to get to really clean my skin. I am the person who likes it when I use my toner afterwards, there is no dirt residue on the cotton round, and I find with this cleanser, if I don't let it sit on my face for a few seconds, I will be seeing the residue on the cotton rounds. That being said, I don't make my face too dry and that is especially good for anyone with oily to combination skin. It doesn't have a heavy lather and you don't have to use a lot. It's good to give a try.

I like that this product is nontoxic and doesn't have any harmful ingredients in it. It's also a black-owned company and a lot of their proceeds go toward supporting farmers in Togo. My biggest problem which this product is is how watery and liquidy it is. Compared to all my other cleansers (from pacifica, acure, and yes to) this cleanser is so watery it will run off your fingers and hands. I really struggle to apply this onto my face to cleanser my face with my hands, I had to pour it onto a towel and use it to wash my face. I mean, may as well use this as a body wash!
