rotating headband will not turn completely and i'm concerned about "forcing it" into the horizontal position and causing breakage. help?
The wrong instructions were sent with this snorkel - how do you get the actual snorkel tube attached to the headband??
How strong is the headstrap? Are they sold separately in case of breakage?
where is this made?

I like it

So far, I'm liking this snorkel better than the similar Finis version. Perhaps the airflow from the top is a bit more restricted, but I think I'll be able to get used to that. My concern, as always, will be how durable it is over time and how long it will last before I need to replace it. I'll report back later if there's an issue.

Game Changer!

In case anyone is wondering if this works for flip turns without getting water in the snorkel. It does. It took about two laps to get it down and to be brave enough to try to exhale through my nose only and breathe through the snorkel with my mouth as I do when I’m swimming the laps. When I first tried it I realized when I would do my flip turn I would exhale out of my mouth thinking Water would be entering the snorkel has done in the past without this particular kind of snorkel. Giving that big exhale to always blow water out. But I would also feel a little bit of a burn in my nose like some water came in. So as I was swimming I was thinking, am I going to have to get a nose plug so I can do this properly. Then I figured I might as well just try to exhale out of my nose and see if any water comes into my mouth. And I must say nothing came in. I continued with several laps just to make sure that it wasn’t just a weird Flipturn and still no water entered my snorkel. Which I was very happy that I didn’t come up choking on water. I would definitely recommend the snorkel to anyone that likes to do flip turns and also uses a snorkel it can be done together. I always would feel like when I would get to the wall to turn around it kind of took a little bit of my momentum away because I didn’t know how to do a flip turn with a snorkel on. This particular snorkel with the top part built-in allows for exactly that no water and I maintain my momentum. I definitely noticed today when I went swimming that I had that drive to push myself a little harder. I do swim at a 25 yard pool unfortunately nothing else in town is available. Only the university has a 50 m and currently it is not open to anyone except students and to become a member to swim otherwise it’s rather difficult due to parking on campus without a pass can be risky for tickets. But back to the snorkel, soft in the mouth soft on the forehead perhaps you may notice the weight when you first put it on if you’re swimming with the light weight snorkel. I do have a light weight one from Finns that weights a little less but I must say the length on this one for the mouth piece makes it more comfortable and the extra weight is very minimal once you start swimming you’ll be so excited that you have this momentum that you will completely forget that it’s a couple of extra grams more. And you cannot beat the cost. I must say this is the first review I’ve ever written. I am a 51 to soon to be 52-year-old female that swims about three days a week permitting there is an open lane available I average about 3/4 to a mile within the 45 minutes allotted to the swimmers. That is typically about all I can get in There is also a slight resistance depending on which lane your swimming in because the other part of the pool has a river like canal action so I’m not an expert just a 135 pound college athlete stuck in a current 220 pound body. Still have the athlete just a different body. But I must say I am at least down 45 pounds from some healthy eating and of course swimming with some great equipment.

It’s okay

Received quickly I do a lot of snorkeling made good material & is good quality very durable no water got inside the snorkel breathing was very good very easy to use the design needs a little work the snorkel moved to the left and stayed the there I tried moving it back hooked to the left mouthpiece is all one piece makes it hard to change mouth to make it comfortable the snorkel wasn’t comfortable at all also it felt heavy while the mouthpiece was in you mouth over all it wasn’t for me everybody is different the value of the snorkel isn’t where it should be

You breathe differently blow out your nose except when breathing in.

What I was expecting. The mouthpiece you hold in your teeth is only in the back which I think makes it more comfortable. I may find I'm sore later, but I didn't notice anything while swimming. Totally unable to see the snorkel while swimming or feel any drag which I was concerned about. I have been swimming for over 40 years and have never used a nose clip but I'm buying one now. It may be because I'm swimming in an endless pool, but I was gagging on the water in the back of my throat coming in my nose. I finally learned to blow out my nose periodically to get the water back out. It cleaned my sinuses out good ha ha.Update learned nose clip didn't work. May for some people but not me. I just learned to blow out my nose all the time except when taking a breath. The snorkel is fine, I need a longer breath with the snorkel than when I was turning my head to breathe, I'm sure the smaller diameter of the snorkel is the reason. I wish the snorkel tube was a little longer. When I relax my head it can tip the snorkel into the water and I get a little water in my mouth not enough to choke me but I have to keep my head higher than I like I think it's because I'm swimming with a wet suit on which is not recommended but is the only way I can tolerate swimming this winter has been so cold.
