Part fits and works great.

Repair service wanted $100 for this plus $300 to install. Here paid $50 and my grandson installed it for free and it took him10 minutes and he had never done this before very easy!

The valve was easy to install and kept us from buying a countertop ice maker.

So these refrigerator parts are fantastic for 2 reasons!1. After having someone come to service the fridge I was told the parts would cost 3x the price I paid on amazon, and2. They told me the time frame for receiving the parts was "weeks and weeks" which is not great at all! SoYay for Amazon for the speed that I received the parts in and for the price that I paid for them. A+

Shipping was super fast. Had it installed and the ice started to flow. This item was bought for a whirlpool fridge that stopped making ice even though I had water coming out from my dispenser. Very happy

The product shipped quickly and was easily installed. Unfortunately, the specific part sent fixed my ice production issue, for about 2 days then quit. The new part would also seep and drip water from the water dispenser for about 2 min after filling a glass of water. The return of the part was painless. I will just get an official OEM part from Whirlpool.

I have purchased at least 5 of these made by Robertshaw. They come with prongs bent where you need to plug them in. Product works for about a week and then starts to leak from the water dispenser. I bought this to fix a leak in the ice maker, never had a leak from water dispenser. So just to make sure I reinstalled old part and no leak from water dispenser but leaked again from ice maker. So point proved that it’s a defective part.

If you have had 4 or 5 leak, you most likely have trash in your system.., tiny particles will hold the valve open just enough for a slow drip..
