The best protein is the the one you don't mind buying and taking regularly not ones that are always clumpy, taste bad, and upset your stomach giving you gas all day. Buuut if it's really cheap then I can deal with like 2 of those. For the gains. But with this one, you don't need to suffer any of those things.My favorite part is you can mix this in a cup using just a spoon or knife, chopstick, etc. It is not lumpy, gritty or chewy. If anything maybe slightly chemical-y, and who doesn't want that?Not usually a vanilla guy but this was pretty good and... cheaper . Tastes more like vanilla frosting than ice cream to me. Nice change from the regular chocolate from other brands. Possibly easier on the guts too. That's important.Now most importantly, it's a good deal. You can do like I did and get 2 gal. instead of the 5 to see if you like it. Simply put it's just better then I've gotten from more expensive powders.

I ordered Muscletech Premium Gold 100% whey in double chocolate and I have to say this is one solid product. The flavor is on-point and incredibly satisfying in a post workout shake especially when your on strict macros. As usual Muscletech supplements value is much higher than the cost of their products, in particular 100% whey gold. The product has 24g of whey protein and 5.5g of BCAA, which is typically what you'd find in similar products. The main difference between muscle tech and competitors is affordable price and superior filtration methods. I typically have trouble with dairy so most whey supplements affect me despite claiming the lactose if filtered out. However, with Muscletech I have no problems at all. I would recommend this product to those looking for a solid whey protein supplement that tastes delicious.

I got the 30 serving chocolate flavor tub for $12, so I figured that I would give it a try. An internet search showed that MuscleTech was involved with a class action suit a few years go over protein stacking and it looks like they are trying to make up with it with better quality products.The Premium Gold 100% gets really good reviews from sights other than Amazon, so it seems like it is quality stuff.Normally I don't big deal the taste of protein powders. My thinking is if it tastes like a milkshake then its probably more sugar than quality ingredients, but this stuff tastes pretty good with only two grams of sugar and I mix it with water, and it mixes well.It didn't get 5 stars from me because of the cholesterol amount. My usual protein mix is MyProtein THEWHEY that has only 10mg cholesterol with 0g sugar and 25g of protein. Whereas MuscleTech Premium Gold has 60mg cholesterol, 2g sugar and 24g protein.For the price it is great and if I see it discounted again I will get it again while I am waiting for THEWHEY to drop below $40 for 60 servings again.

I've been buying this stuff for a few years now and it's the only protein powder I'll use. I've tried so many throughout the years but this one is my favorite. You can't beat the price, the vanilla flavor or great, it's a 30 day supply, it mixes great. I do keto but still always craving something sweet, I'll much the powder in coconut milk (0 carbs) and a spoonful of cocoa powder (3 carbs) and it tastes like a delicious creamy chocolate milkshake. Sometimes I'll put a spoonful of peanut butter powder in it too. I love this protein powder so much. I hope they don't keep raising the price and it stays on the market.

This is a really great product! It is great for recovery after tough workouts! It has also helped me build muscle and strength, even though I am on low-carb diet/lifestyle. In my opinion, this is the best whey you can get an affordable price. It also has a very good taste for being a supplement. My favorite flavor is the Vanilla Ice Cream. The Chocolate flavor is good but as tasty. Usually take 2 scoops after a workout with water and a little peanut butter mixed in. I usually buy it ahead of when I need it when the price drops (sometimes less than $15.00 a tub!).

As many of you in the bodybuilding/workout community know finding a proper, well balanced, pure & upfront ingredient, cost effective based protein powder is difficult. I've tried SEVERAL but only swear by a very limited few. This product at first had me very skeptical, but decided to try it and take a leap of faith per say. Delivery was fast, product arrived unopened and as described. Contents are clearly listed and from what I could tell, there were no hidden fillers or overloaded with sugars or carbohydrates. I did notice a slightly faster drop in weightloss while using this product and reduction in muscle fatigue & soreness and my DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness: My muscles become swollen and sore roughly 3 days after each intense/heavy workout and not instantly or next day, including legs/quads),increase in ability to complete sets/reps, additional energy,. Those were great factors for me.Flavor: I purchased the Vanilla, not being a chocolate type of person and now wish that I had went with the chocolate. The vanilla is slightly overpowering and I believe that is to compensate with some ingredients that don't have a natural appealing flavor and for those like me who can instantly taste "Sucralose" and "Aspertain", was used to mask that noticeable after taste, which for me it doesn't....at all.Negative side effects:The only negative side effect that I noticed was momentary abdominal cramps and nauseousness BUT only occurred if I mixed the product with a nut milk (Almond). If I mixed the product with filtered/purified/natural spring water, no stomach cramps and nauseousness last maybe 5 minutes (more than likely was an issue with the Sucralose, which my body doesn't process synthetic sugars properly)All-in-all, I do recommend this product for anyone starting an immediate "cut" phase, or for night/late night workouts.Thank you!
