This set of tuxedo cufflinks and shirt buttons was the perfect accessory for the gala I attended last night. The buttons that came with my tux shirt were plastic and it did not even come with cufflinks, so I ordered this set with only a day to spare. The stainless steel and sleek black looked great with my tux. My only complaint, is that the back of the buttons was JUST a little too narrow for my shirt button holes and the buttons fell out very easily. I fortunately did not lose any, and I can sew my shirt button holes just a little to ensure it doesn't happen again, but didn't have time for the event last night. Overall, these are great accessories for a formal event and I'm sure I'll get a lot of use out of them.I will note this i snot necessarily "giftable" because it comes in a pretty plain box individually wrapped in tiny zip bags. The box isn't even really good for long term storage. That said, this doesn't seem like a "gift" item anyway, more like something you order for a specific event you are going to... so that doesn't bother me in the least.

They don't look cheaply made

I wanted a simple look to attend a formal affair. I love that it includes 6 button studs rather than 4, which most other provide. If you ever want to take off your vest, it's nice to see studs all the way down the shirt, giving a cleaner more sophisticated look.
