You think you don't need it, but you do
I was trying to cancel this at first, but thank god I didn't. The bike I got was leaving marks in my carpet so I quickly realized how crucial this was. It's worth it! Also yes it does smell like plastic for a couple hours but after that, it was fine.

Perfect play mat
I bought this as a play mat for my toddler granddaughter on my tile floors. It provides just the cushion we need and is super easy to sweep off or wipe with a damp cloth. I ended up buying a second one to use as a mat under my cockatiel’s cage. They look the same as the day they arrived.

Very shiny & slippery!
The mat was to shiny and slippery. When I put the equipment on it, the equipment just moved right off of it while in motion.

would probably work great for protecting the floor from exercise equipment.

Did Not Protect Floors
Bought this with my exercise bike as a recommended add on. My mistake. The bike wheels still scratched and dented the floorboards as if the mat wasn't even there to begin with.
