Fantastic Robot Vacuum ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Glorious Transition from iRobot to Ecovacs 🙌Purchased this fantastic robot vacuum after my previous iRobot Roomba i7 was the most over rated robot vacuum iv owed (iv owed 3, 4 if you count this one) previous was slightly better after iRobot released new designed app but not improved enough especially for the premium price paid (2 previous to that were Eufy Robovac - great units by the way) Anyway back to point or did I mean PAINT!!! The iRobot would dragged itself against skirting leaving black lines on the white finish resulting in damage to newly decorated woodwork as wouldn’t come off fully, it would banged into thing very aggressively and as for avoidance “do you mean smashing into the back of the foot while it’s cleaning.. you little Bar steward 🤣” anyway you get the drift not impressed for a premium model like the iRobot Roomba i7Enter the Ecovacs DEEBOT OZMO T8 AIVI 🤩🤩🤩🤩 (bit of a Mouthful on the name there Ecovacs but look at her 🌅 she’s a beaut ok bit sad now) it’s a different class on its own seriously very gentle with going near things avoidance is amazing it genuinely works.... ok like anything it’s not prefect 100% of the time you might get a very rare incident that it won’t identify the item it’s avoiding and will push it for a brief second before realising stopping along with go round it but it does this in such a soft way to be sure you would never have to worry (for example with a pint glass full beer like with me 😱 not a drop spilt 🙏🏻) and 99% of the time it will successfully identify the object and this didn’t arise as it avoids it completely so the back of my foot or stubbed toes are also safe 😁 as for the going along Skirtings no black lines, no damage, no for FCUK sake and no banging into things aggressively its smooth and lot quieter, vacuums powerfully and effectively, mapping and navigation is excellent, app is different to the iRobot app but easy to use and find it great, also iv got it linked to both my Alexa my default voice assistant and my google (I only have two as I have a google nest door bell that’s I need the google to make visitor announcements as unavailable though Alexa) but anyway I have the Ecovacs linked with both anyway and it works fantastic and first time every time again unlike the iRobot.... you just simply say “Alexa ask Deebot to clean” or “Alexa ask Deebot to return home” etc also you can once the robot has mapped your home (including multiple floors) name the areas and rooms once this is done you can also say “Alexa ask Deebot to clean Kitchen” or “Alexa ask Deebot to vacuum Living room” etc etc and she will go off and just clean that room before returning home which is one of the main features that’s originally prompted me to buy the iRobot Roomba i7 but honestly guys the Ecovacs is just better at it... as I say the suction is a lot better and powerful when compared also has two side brushes instead of one that’s on iRobot I could go on and on but you get the main drift it’s generally Miles better then any of the units iv owed previously and would HIGHLY recommend... mopping features I can’t compare to iRobot as it’s doesn’t have that but one of my Robovacs did and this is again (only used once so fair) miles better it has a scribbling mop attachment that actually scrubbed clean with an oscillating action as it goes rather then just drag a bit of water about with it so very impressed initially also very clever auto detect carpets so if vacuuming will kick up the power when on it for extra suction and when mopping stops as knows it’s carpets to avoid damaging before resuming mopping once back on hard floor off of carpet and it just works in fact that’s the best way to sum up this review it’s a breath of fresh air it’s does exactly what it says on the tin and “it just works”Very happy and very impressed certainly worth every penny 5 Stars out of 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely amazing!
The media could not be loaded. This product is incredible! Some time ago when robot cleaners arrived I was very sceptical & judging by what I read they reall weren't up to the job. Things have improved so I read the which.co.uk reviews they didn't include this model but had the Dyson robot. I read a lot of reviews & watched a number of videos. As I have a small cleaning business the most important thing was the radar & object avoidance capability then the mopping & of course vaccuming effectiveness. The radar uses the latest Lidar system, used by the military & you may have seen documentaries where buildings have been mapped to preserve them online. The radar is very effective, however the Deebot can get stuck on cables or other "stringy" items, so it's not perfect. Best thing to do is remove or place such items out of the way. It will easily find such things as chairs, tables etc & move around them. It will go into corners, provided there is enough room & the brushes will sweep into the corners. I have used a Tineco & Dyson cordless & this bot picked up more human hair & pet hair than those two rotary vaccume cleaners. The Deebot is very good at vaccuming provided your not trying to pickup anything much larger than a pea. It will pickup larger items but its best suited to a more tidy environment. It will easily vaccume up spilt coffee, sugar, peanuts etc. It's ideally suited to going around large spaces, in my case a hotel, bank, job centre etc. Where it can help me as if I had another worker, leaving me free to do the more delicate stuff such as office cleaning. If you buy from the manufacturer as I did on Amazon (just look for their name Ecovacs) then the Ozmo osscilating mopping attachment is included at no extra cost. The standard attachment (included) doesn't osscilate but just wipes the microfibre pad across the floor. The Ozmo system has a small motor & will scrub at 480 oscillations per minute. The scrubbing action is superb & does a much better job than you would do with an ordinary mop. It won't damage your delicate wooden or polished floors & I find it a great help. It won't fall off down the stairs as it has a sensor to detect the edge, in fact all the sensors are very good, just press a button & let Deebot scuttle off & do it's job. It's a bit freaky to see it suddenly come to life like a big beetle but after a few minutes you get used to it & it's amazing how it works it's way around. The manufacturer doesnt recommend using cleaning fluids in the container, as you can bung up the water outlets & void your warranty. So what I do is make up a solution of hard surface cleaner & put small puddles spaced about 6-10 feet apart & let the Deebot use the liquid to scrub the floor. Make sure your Ozmo reservoir is topped up as it will still pump out a very small amount of water (which you can adjust), you don't have to lay down puddles as you can use the Deebot as is because the microfibre pad will pick up a lot of dirt. If you want the Deebot to vaccum then mop a combined floor then you will have to use the other reservoir without the Ozmo or use the Deebot with or without the Ozmo to vaccume then scrub (remove the Ozmo if doing your carpets). I've attached a video of it vaccuming in a well known national chain of opticians. It will also scrub any floor in exactly the same way using the Ozmo plug in resovoir. I am very pleased with this product but make sure it suits your environment as it's no good for very small spaces full of clutter. As long as there is enough room for it to move around the objects it will avoid items & even go underneath them & do it's job. It is extremely effective, quite quick in its movements but in order to be so thorough it will go back & forth quite a bit & take it's time. I don't use it to save time but to help me so I don't wear myself out! All in all its a very good robot, in fact its so good I bought another one as it was on sale & the price had dropped by £100 ! I couldn't resist that, so what more can you ask for? Btw they also do a robot window/glass cleaner, it's called the Winbot, I will be checking that out next. Neither product is cheap but you definitely get what you pay for, so don't go cheap. If you can buy it then do so, if not then save up & get it, it's great. Btw, I've just read my review & realised it sounds like a promo from the manufacturer! Nooo I don't work for Ecovacs, just happy to share the good news as it's a great product.
