Libro grande, ben scritto e impaginato.Unico problema? Le unità di misura delle ricette sono solo quelle americane: cucchiai, tazze, °F...., senza il corrispettivo in unità internazionali, come si trova in tutti i libri di un certo livello, non è neanche presente una tabella per le conversioni!E' un libro con tante ricette ma il bacino di utenza sono le casalinghe americane o chi non s'intende di Pasticceria!Ho già acquistato altri libri stranieri di pasticceria, sia inglesi che frances,i e tutti avevano le ricette in unità internazionali!Altro appunto, la maggior parte delle ricette ha una quantità di grasso e zucchero elevatissima! Certo i biscotti non sono certo dietetici ma queste ricette sono lontane dal gusto e dall'Arte Pasticcera italiana!Non lo ricomprerei!

Most recipes call for flavorings. Expensive flavorings. And expensive specialty ingredients. Coconut cookies require coconut flavoring. Maple cookies require both maple sugar($$$$) and maple flavoring. Not for serious bakers who depend on actual ingredients to flavor their cookies. And cooincidentially, they happen to sell all of those flavorings and $$ ingredients on the King Arthur website. I get the feeling that this book is less about baking great cookies and more about upselling their products. Off to Goodwill with this one- don't waste your money when there are so many other excellent cookie books on the market. Think Maida Heatter or Marion Cunningham.
