The World Game - Geography Card Game - Educational Board Game for Kids, Family & Adults - Learning Game for Teenage Boys & Girls

This is mostly a review of the seller (The world game store) as I did not get the chance to test the game yet. I had a delivery problem (Royal Mail did not bother to leave me a card/note when they delivered to my neighbour) and the seller was really supportive, even offered to replace the game for free. Found it in the end, so there was no need, but it's a good attitude from the seller.About the game now, it seems well made, good quality. Very simple rules, it's basically a top trumps game, but highly educational, with a twist (the option to make a challenge) which is a nice idea to spice up a bit the classical top trumps. The map could have been a bit thicker, maybe cardboard instead of paper, as the game carries a premium price, but otherwise it's a great small box, easy to carry if need travelling, well made. I assume good for 8+ kids for learning some geography, and also interesting small facts about each country. I wish they had printed the map/shape of the country next to the flag, but for that I got a separate different item, also I printed my own country shapes cards, with the country name on the back, for a different own made-up game.

Son thoroughly enjoys playing this game. Educational and fun. Easy to play.

This is honestly one of the best buys I’ve ever done. I wanted to learn the countries, their capitals and their location - and this is exactly what I get with this game. The map is clearly marked, and the cards are vibrant and clear. I was worried the cards may be prone to marks or stains, but I’m pleasantly surprised to say this hasn’t happened. I’ve only been playing it a few weeks, but all the family love it and we’re learning so much.However, I think it would have been even better if the Flashcards included the currency of each country too, but this is a really minor point. Also, there’s no card for Greenland, but I guess this is because it’s a dependency of Denmark, and there aren’t any cards for any dependencies/overseas territories either.Other than that, this game is one of the best I’ve ever played, and I love how educational it is. I’ve already recommended it to my friends, and I encourage anyone reading this to also have a go.

Excellent family game, and enjoyed by most ages. Probably best suited to four people over the age of 8 though, as ability to read well is required. It all takes too long with more players. I wouldn't recommend any card game for travelling though, as too easy to lose cards. Cards seem thick and well made - much more so than average playing cards.

Really fun game, we played for 3 hours when we received it. My 7yo loves geography! Plenty of different ways to play, you can just use it to quizz. Love it!

Nice for family time but it’s limited

Bought his for my son for Christmas and he loves it. He loves everything about countries and this game just is a perfect fit for him. It’s very easy to understand and you can play with 2 or more players. He loves the facts on the countries like population and area and it’s a really challenging to him to remember all the flags incase he gets challenged during the game. Throughly enjoying playing this with him. Great value for money
