Replacement part for my washer was easy to find and easy to replace saved a bunch of money by doing it myself.

I bought this drain pump for a Maytag Brovos XL (circa 2015). The pump works fine and I was able to install it but, as the pic shows, part of the mounting plate was broken on arrival. The pump doesn’t appear to be used but this was discouraging. Given we were without a washer I didn’t have much of a choice but to install it otherwise I would have returned it.

This part is very easy to install. The most time consuming part is moving the washing machine to gain access. The bracket that is circled green came broken and it seems this is an issue that others experienced as well. Luckily the bracket from the old part will easily fit the new one. It has 3 screws that attach it to the pump. This saved me the trouble of sending it back and waiting even longer to repair my machine. Even without the broken piece it would be secure enough to work.

Washer wasn't draining right bought this part and installed(took about 20 min with draining water from hoses) washer drains like it is brand new.
