A Galactic Adventure with D-O
Introduction:Ah, my friends, gather 'round! Today, I shall regale you with a tale of wonder, a saga spun from the very fabric of the cosmos. Picture it: a galaxy far, far away, where bricks collide and imagination soars. Yes, my fellow travelers, we delve into the enigma that is the LEGO Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker D-O 75278 Building Kit. Buckle up, young padawans, for this review shall be more thrilling than a Kessel Run at lightspeed!Chapter I: The Birth of D-O:In the heart of the LEGO universe, amidst interlocking galaxies, emerges our star: D-O, the endearing droid from the climactic finale of the Skywalker saga. With 519 pieces, this celestial creation materializes before our eyes. The force is strong with this one, my friends. The bricks align, and behold! D-O stands tall, antennas quivering like a dew-kissed Jawa.Chapter II: Authenticity Unleashed:Verily, the attention to detail rivals even the finest Corellian spice. D-O’s head swivels, a cosmic ballet of 360 degrees. Antennas? Posable, they are! And the stand—oh, the stand! A pedestal worthy of a Jedi Master’s memoirs. An information sign, too, for those who seek enlightenment. And lo, a minifigure of D-O, pint-sized yet brimming with cosmic charisma.Chapter III: The Cosmic Dimensions:Picture it: D-O, standing sentinel at 10.5 inches high, 4 inches wide, and 6 inches deep. A compact marvel, it nestles into your earthly abode without disrupting hyperspace traffic. Fear not, my friends; it won’t devour your living space like a Sarlacc pit. Instead, it shall mesmerize guests, sparking conversations more riveting than a Wookiee chess match.Chapter IV: The Force of Creativity:Younglings, heed my words! This LEGO set beckons to creative souls across the parsecs. Assemble it, you must, with nimble fingers and a heart aflame. Imagine D-O rolling through Jakku’s deserts, whispering secrets to the wind. The choice, dear builders, is yours.Epilogue: A Cosmic Ode:And so, my fellow starfarers, I bestow upon the LEGO Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker D-O 75278 Building Kit a celestial rating: 5 out of 5 stars. It transcends mere bricks; it embodies dreams. May it grace your shelves, your mantelpiece, or your cockpit console. Lego Fun
My purchase came in perfect condition. It was delivered days prior to the scheduled dates. This was a fun build. The price wasn't too expensive for being a retired piece

Fun family activity
The media could not be loaded. We bought this to do together as a family during the pandemic and we had so much fun. We have the BB-8 and Porg Star Wars Legos already so this was a great addition to our collection. It took a few hours to put together. The directions were easy to follow. The only challenges was attaching the tubing. If buying this for a younger child, they may need help.

Interesting to build
Hard to find. Use some vaseline to fit pieces into hoses.

Meh pricing on this set
D-O is a small role character from the newer Star Wars Skywalker saga movies (The Rise of Skywalker). This set wasn’t really well received as their were some more memorable characters from the movies. But honestly don’t let that detract from the set, it is pretty cool and having a Lego droid is always awesome.Play features: I wouldn’t say this set has play features but the head of the droid articulates 360 degrees and up/down. The set is definitely leaning towards collecting and displaying.Retiring date: This set is retiring at the end of 2021.Price: The price to piece count is not so great on this set. However, you can find this set on sale 8-15% off quite regularly.
