This is a great little set for your budding artist who loves monster high. My daughter loves this set and the only thing I was a bit disappointed in were the scissors. They are plastic, all plastic, and my initial thought was "these will never cut paper what a joke!" I was genuinely surprised that they actually did cut paper. I have no idea how but they did. Construction paper, notebook paper, they cut it. Run your finger on them and they won't cut them though. The down side, they are plastic and when my daughter stepped on them accidentally one day they snapped and broke. Oh well. The rest of the kit though is great and like I said my daughter loves it and it was a great price so win win. I definitely recommend buying this
