LG 4K Blu-Ray Player with Wi-Fi and Remote - Includes HDMI Cable, Ethernet, and Lens Cleaner

I’m very disappointed that I spend good money for a blu ray player that I’ve only had since July(5mo’s) and it continues to seize/ lock up.. it won’t open, it won’t play, it won’t even turn on and off.. constantly have to completely unplug and reply it just to get my movie back out! Rip off for sure!!!!

At 1st I wanted to get the latest & greatest, but then realized my TV is 4 yrs' old & I don't need 4K & all the other stuff that's now built into DVD players. So I opted to go with the same brand as my TV. It's disappointing. Slow to respond, most of the time it won't pause or stop without having to hit all the buttons many times. Picture is ok, but I should have gone with a more expensive unit. You really do get what you pay for, in this instance.

The problem I am having is it’s not working that great. My computer works better . I don’t know that I can do now. It could be the internet it self.

Right out of the box it was an easy setup. Simple hardware-on/0ff button and eject button on the front. Power light is a good thing to have. Being able to unplug from power on the back of the unit becomes very useful later on. This is where functionality becomes an issue. On home page the unit sometimes has trouble connecting to the premium channel providers. I get stuck in an endless loop from home page to premium channel provider back to home page. I purchased two of the units and they both do the same thing. Youtube stalls often and sometimes following commercials it kicks out to the home page again so you have to go back through the premium channel providers menu to find what you were watching again. Sometimes instead of kicking out to the home page it just goes to white screen at which point you have to push the home button to get back to the home menu. Sometimes it stalls while watching something on Youtube or netflix or amazon and refuses to exit the picture. The unit will not exit the picture or even power off so this where being able to unplug the power from behind the unit is good. You don't have to find the power plug at the outlet to unplug and reboot the unit though I don't really think this should be counted as a good selling attribute. No software update to fix these issues yet is a bummer. Current version appears to have been coded by a high schooler. At more than a hundred bucks a pop, not worth it. Good luck should you pick one of these up.

I hooked everything up. I put the Wi-Fi on it. Everything was included in the box as described. It updated the software as soon as I hooked it up. No issues. It works fine. It had You Tube, Netflix and Amazon prime and other software that we don’t use. I think the only thing is that it could have included more software to download. But I realize this is a new player but probably an old unit, from judging what was on there. Recommend!

This is a low end unit. It works OK for DVDs, but it couldn't get a sufficiently strong signal for HD streaming even though it is within 10 feet of the router. It came without an owner's manual, although a pretty good one is available online. Without the owner's manual, you can only guess how to pair the remote to your TV. This unit plus a ROKU streaming stick wound up giving me what I need.

A relative bought 1 and showed me.I bought 1.Loved it so much.I bought 1 more.I wished the remote was bigger tho.
