Fantastic putting mat with one important flaw.
I'm a mid-capper that lives in an apartment in the midwest, and this is the best indoor putting green solution for me. I was struggling with my speed on the green, and after putting on it a few times week, my speeds have improved massively, and my confidence has skyrocketed. The one issue I have with this green is that it the ball will leave a temporary groove after a couple putts, so it's better for working on putting speed than face-alignment. More on that below.Positives:+ It easily rolls up and stores away in the (awesome) carrying case, which makes the girlfriend happy.+ Markings for alignment are very helpful+ The quality is top notch. I keep it in the carrying case, which means 3-5 times a week I pull it out, unroll it, putt for 10-20 minutes, then rolling it back up. My putting stance also means my feet are halfway on the mat. With all of that, it's not showing any signs of wear after a couple months of this routine. My cat even clawed at it a few times when I wasn't looking, and it didn't fray!Negative:- The grooving. After 2 or 3 putts, the ball leaves a groove that clearly effects the line of the ball. If you putt slightly off-line, you will see the ball curve back into the groove as it rolls. That means every few puts, I'll walk the mat and sort of scrub it with my putter or my foot to remove the groove. Minor inconvenience, but worth noting.Thoughts & tips:1) The surface you put it on matters. When I put it on my carpet, it rolls slow (if I had to guess, around a 7-8 stimp). When I put it on hardwood in the kitchen, it rolls more like an 8-9. The "10 stimp" claim is a bit of a stretch.2) When I'm working on face alignment, I do the ruler drill (google it!). That way I don't have to worry about the grooving.3) I bought the Puttout pressure trainer to go with my mat and it's awesome. Highly recommend it.

I don't recommend this for serious golfers
It is too slow, not a 10 as advertised. I really can't use it as the greens I put on are all much faster and they are actually 10s. I don't recommend this for serious golfers. I wish I could return it but I didn't realize it until too late.

Dropped 3 strokes from my handicap in 90 days!
I have gone from an 11.4 to 8.2 in the 3 months since I began using this mat. I believe having the PuttOut Pressure Putt trainer is a must pairing with the mat. With those two pieces of gear I have been able to practice 3' and 6.5' putts every day while I am on conference calls or watching sports in the evening. It will initially seem almost impossible to get the ball to stay in the little indention on the Pressure Putt but with determined practice I was able to get where I could nail it from 6.5' nearly 3 out of 10 attempts on average. The first time you hit 3 perfect putts in a row it will feel like winning a major! My confidence on putts from 10' and in has grown immeasurably. The key has been to improve my ability to be much more on line through impact and to always be accelerating through the forward stroke. This mat has paid for itself many times over by winning skins and validating "greenies" when draining 6 footers like I was Jordan Spieth!

Amazing!
Purchased this along with the putt trainer for my husband's Christmas gift. He absolutely loves it and uses it every day.Pros:- it rolls (like a yoga mat) so when he's not using it, we are able to put it away and it does not take up up a lot of space- the grip on the mat is great so it stays firm (which was a concern I had when I first ordered it) since we didn't want anything slippery- there are many lines so you can practice short & long puttsWe purchased 2 more for our families as it's a great gift for the winter & getting ready for the golf season!

Just wanted to stroke a few putts
I just wanted to stroke a few putts inside checking my contact, alignment, ball roll. It is not U S Open speed. It does have a fair roll, speed is good, I have putted slower greens. Like the alignment aids, found the mat laid flat a couple of hours after relaxing from shipping. I wasn't expecting much, I have had several putting greens in the past that were junk. Playing golf for 50+years, seen and bought a lot of golf "aids" that did not live up to their promises. I'm pleased.

Best putting mat on market
This is a bit pricey compared to other putting mats, however this mat is the best quality. It rolls up very well and fits back into included tube and sleeve. It rolls out and stay flat -- it's fairly thick. Guide lines help with alignment. Great for practicing the fundamentals.

Really good quality putting practice mat
This mat is just under 8ft long and very well made. The mat is thick and rolls up well, but has enough weight to roll out smoothly. The surface is smooth and quick to putt on, I think about 10ish on the stimp meter, which is plenty enough for mortals. It has around 6ft of alignment marks on to help with distance drills. I have the black/blue version, but it is available in green too. Definitely recommend this for indoor training, but even outdoor on a smooth patio or similar.

Great 6ft putting mat
Does what it says on the box, good quality, worth the purchase for those of you looking for something for home of this size.On a side note, would like them to make a longer version of at least 12ft to the current 6ft.
