Steampunk Mad Scientist Goggles Rave Glasses Costume Eye Protection Goggles Welding Style

They block out the sun like an eclipse!

These goggles were a great addition to my "mad scientist" costume for Halloween. The adjustable band can size to nearly any noggin. The green lenses are a nice touch, and actually still had great visibility while wearing them.With that, my only flaw I could find so far is the spacer between the goggle lenses - it is a fixed length piece of plastic. The distance between my eyes were just wide enough that it would not cause me any discomfort. However, someone with a smaller head or narrower bridged nose could find this to make it tough to see through the goggles without a "fish-eye" effect. Perhaps an elastic or adjustable bridge piece would make these perfect.

Bought these for my Cosplay streams on Twitch and grew to love them pretty fast. I did notice one thing with them was that the ridge part around the eye sockets can push into your skin a bit. Especially if your wearing them on your forehead for a long period of time.

Purchased these goggles to compliment a costume lab coat, gloves, and wig we purchased to complete a mad scientist look. These goggles fit the bill. They were dark enough to obscure the eyes, but vision was relatively unimpaired when worn in daylight. The goggles were easy to adjust and comfortable. Perhaps most importantly, the goggles looked really cool!

Bought this for a costume and it was great. The look was perfect. Not very comfortable on my face and I thought it would be a slight tint but was very dark. Thought I wouldn’t be able to see while out at night. Fortunately the lense caps screw off and I could remove the tint covers that sit on top of clear lenses! So that was a bonus.

These were perfect for our mad scientist Halloween costumes! Would still buy them again, however the eye pieces were too far apart for my face which made it a bit awkward.

For being 12 dollars I didn’t expect much but looking at them so far they are fine. The nose bridge can be adjusted on how wide the goggles are but the plastic bit doesn’t widen with it.

These are fun goggles! They're really cool-looking, and I've gotten a lot of compliments from random classmates - even those who have no idea what steampunk is. The goggles are brightly colored, look nice and are a decent price. The straps are adjustable, although a little difficult to manage.However, they aren't very comfortable; they fit nicely, but the plastic frame digs into my head after a while. Also, a small hair was trapped between the lenses - and it doesn't come out, because it's a double-lense. (The hair is not mine, by the way.) The picture makes it look more illuminescent and authentic than it does, because the color is not as bright (but still bright nonetheless) and the frames have no tinges. It's just black. Also, it's hard to see through the lenses. You CAN see, but everything is relatively blurry.Despite the complaints, though, the awesomeness level overall is pretty high. They're good considering the price.
