I recently redid my bathtub with the refinishing kit and the base of the tub was super slick. I read on multiple sites that I would need to use a special floor mat but decided to use this product. It was easy to use. Be sure to watch the videos on application a few times before starting. The product is easy to work with but hard to fix if you mess up.

I believe this stuff is simply a small quantity of the tub coating with a small amount of grit stuff. I would suggest the manufacturer include this with the tub kit. You will have to put something on the coating or your tub will turn into a skating rink, the coating is that smooth once it sets up. It is easy to use, especially after you have used the tub coating. At first, I didn't think there would be enough but its just the right amount to coat the bottom of your tub. I taped off the area I wanted to coat and curved the corners which I think gives it a bit better look than 'square' corners. Once its set up, it really does work.

The product (Non-slip kit) was the first thing that I ordered before I ordered the kit to refinish my bathtub. When I received it the first time the part B (Hardener) bottle was only 1/3 full. I thought it leaked. I called the company and they told me that it should have not come like that. They were going to send me a new bottle and I may have received it but I didn't know where I placed it. I ordered this kit and when I received it the bottle was only 1/3 full. I now assume that they mislead me in telling me that it should have been fuller. I am not mad with them but I am disappointed that who I talked to mislead me on how much should have been in the bottle (It was one of the founders). I refinished my bathtub and I posted a previous review which was excellent. The bathtub came out perfect and the product performed exactly as shown in their videos. YOU MUST FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS TO THE TEE AND YOU WILL BE HAPPY. WATCH THE VIDEOS (I WATHCED 3 TIMES BEFORE i DID IT). EVERY STEP WAS AS ADVERTISED AND I AM SURE THE NON-SLIP KIT WILL WORK AS WELL. THEIR PROCEDURES HAVE CHANGED OVER TIME SO WATCH ALL OF THE VIDEOS AND GLEAN SOME FROM EACH ONE.

When I openened the paint bottle, there was some solid paint around the corners and there was discoloration on that dry paint. I thought of using remaining paint but it had dry sand like grains everywhere. Waste of my time and money.

Regret it. A lot of work to dial the refinishing which came out great with pour on kit. They have to change their silica, put a little rnd into maybe.

Works exactly as advertised.Must follow the mixing instructions to the letter on all Ekopel products.

Wouldnt buy this for a non slip coating for your ekopel coatings.. you literally get less than you do in their touch up kit and all they do for the non slip is toss a spoonful of what looked like tile chips and pieces. Because they werent ground up fine enough you could still see the coloring on the chunks.. the results left big sharp pieces on the tub bottom as the non slip.. youre better off putting a spoonful of play sand in a small jar and saving a cup of the unmixed ekopel 2k then when the coating dries just mix the extra cup with sand and part b then roll on with a good foam roller after mixing super well.. like usual. But that will give you a much better, cheaper non slip coat that you wont have to sand off and recoat like i did with this non slip kit..that said ekopel customer service is a+ as well as the product.. this non slip just needs adjusted and more care put into the grit size..
