Hands down best catcher for the money!!
Very fast catcher, will frequently lock on to Pokemon before they even appear on the map. Easily catching 2-300 Pokemon a day with this & absolutely living it. It does prefer Pokemon way before spinning stops/gyms. Takes 90 minutes to charge from dead to full. Will continue working seamlessly to about 35 mph, after that, it will only spin gyms to ~42mph.CONS: Definitely the charger built into the strap.. very snug & easy to break. Also, the rare random disconnects...PROS: very fast & effective. 3-4 days heavy usage without needing charged. Easy interface. Stays connected without issue at 50 feet away.I HIGHLY suggest getting the carry case & not using the strap. The band is way too snug & requires some strength & finesse to get it off.

Good but get the insurance
It works fine, but breaks easy. Get the insurance on this! Inormally don't get insurance plans, but got it for this. Mine broke just before the 2yr warranty expired and i got most of my money back.

Works well most of the time, Features not as advertised
Revising my review from 3 stars to 1 star. Reason: The battery life. After just a few months the battery life has dropped to almost unusable. The device will go from a full charge to completely dead (will not even wake up) after just an hour of use. My original one would last a couple of days before needing to be recharged.Original review:I have bought this item two times from the same listing on Amazon. The first one in Feb 2020 is exactly as listed and worked well. The battery life was decent, lasting a couple of days in normal usage. That original Go-tcha Evolve quit working last month after more than 3 years. Not too bad.So I bought the same item on Amazon again (so I thought). This review is based on my first week observations of the Go-Tcha Evolve that I received in Aug 2023 (vs Feb 2020).The item arrived in the same packaging and looks identical to the one I received in 2020, until you actually use it. the differences:- No watch/clock function on the new Go-tcha- No Pedometer on the new Go-tcha- The display on the new Go-tcha defaults to the reverse orientation as the original (for wearing on the right wrist). It can be flipped using the controls, but seems to revert to the reverse display randomly.- The new Go-tcha can be connected to two phones (and two Pogo accounts) at the same time. Neat feature, if I needed that.- The battery life of the new Go-tcha seems to be much worse than my original. The old one could go a couple of days before needing a recharge. This one is showing low battery (0 bars) in less than a day, even with only one phone connected. I guess it would be worse if you were connecting to two.I still like the Go-tcha Evolve. It seems to work as well as the original Evolve that I received in 2020, except for the missing features (that I do not use) and the shorter battery life (this is more annoying).

Read my review for how to set up with no problems.
The biggest issue is setup from the reviews. According to reviewer‘s, either everyone is dumb, or the watch is junk. I can assure you no one is dumb, the watch does have some issues. But if you do not use the app that they tell you to use for set up, it is pretty easy.- First thing first. Whenever you get the watch make sure to plug it in correctly to the USB port and WAIT 5-10 minutes because it could be dead. (Most people will think the watch is broke, but it just needs charged.) Then tap the screen to see if it’s charging (you’ll see the green battery sign🔋 ). It should be charged within an hour to an hour and a half.- Next, DO NOT TRY AND CONNECT IT TO THE Go-Tcha Evolve APP! The app is complete garbage, but can still help in the future. Once the watch is charged, launch Pokémon go, go to settings on POGO, Scroll down to Poké ball plus, tap on it, now tap on your watch to get the screen up and slowly tap the screen so it stays on while it searches for the watch. Back on POGO you should see it under available devices on Pokémon GO, tap it when you see it under available devices. Then connect.- Now the watch will be saved on your phone under Bluetooth devices. You can download the Gotcha app if you’d like to change settings like catching new Pokémon, spinning poke stops, etc.All in all this is a great watch so far. However mine is still on firmware version one, and this is 100% due to you can only update it through the app and the app is probably the worst app on the App Store. The company could literally make an adapter or a way to download software from your computer to update it that way and change settings. I believe with the update, it allows you to install the templates like displaying time. Right now my watch is literally just a black screen, but does alert whenever it spins a PokéStop or catches the Pokémon.Update: it has been 3 weeks since I’ve had the watch, and now it doesn’t work…it shows that it sees Pokémon, poke stops, gyms, then it just doesn’t do anything. I reset it, charged it longer, and reset again. I would get a replacement, but there’s no guarantee that it won’t fail too and I’ll be past the 30 day refund. Very disappointing.
