These were perfect for my needs. I bought a house, and one of the bathrooms has a small closet with “L” ish shaped shelves that came in 2 pieces and were not connected. I’m not sure how they were even used prior to this bc they fall in if you placed anything on them or it was a balancing act. Anyways. I finally decided to try and fix it so I googled wood joiners not knowing what I would find. These are perfect. I used a couple on each side to keep from folding. The only time a prong bent is when I nailed on a knot on the wood so I just used another right above the knot. They feel nice and sturdy.

These are so frail. Literally all the pointy barbs bend when I try to hammer these into any type of wood. Not worth it. Get something sturdier and with longer barbs

Sharp and sturdy

I got these to attach miter corners on picture frames. The prongs are very weak and are slightly bent in every direction so when trying to hammer them in, they often cave in and do not drive into the wood. I was able to use them after a lot of cussing and trial and error. I was using them on a soft wood and finally got them to work but would not recommend them for hard woods.

My deck builder laughed at these. Said cracks in my support posts were superficial and did not need any repair. See photo. But I used these anyway - made me feel better. Anyway, they are smaller then I expected and do require some finesse to hammer them in, but I only wrecked 3 out of 40 when the legs went wonky. I used them mainly on cracked decking boards during resealing. Often used in conjunction with epoxy wood filler. Worked well on pressure treated boards but I wouldn't try them on hardwoods. I wish they made them in larger sizes too.

Thin and don’t hold, the spikes bend when trying to use
