Surreal take on the end
This is a hard one to quantify, i really liked the show but nothing really happens.Plot wise, it is following 2 girls on their travels, no destination is given and the world is almost totally devoid of life, it is post apocalyptic as their world has suffered through many wars and civilisations has built ontop of the old, great systems put in place to keep humans going which now lay barely functional or in disrepair as anyone that could maintain them has long since died and the automated systems are failing they only really have each other for company and only ever come across 2 individuals since they started travelling.

It's GOOD
Our two heroines are human; they blow on the hot soup before drinking; Chito dips her big toe in the hot bath water to make sure it's not too hot and the conversation's they have can be magical "Hey Yu, why do you think people live?" there are far too many to list. To give you an idea how good this is I have watched it 20 times, at least, you might need some tissues at the end.

Just superb - made me cry!
It's actually very upbeat and the banter between the two girls is what makes the series along with how they cope with unexpected troubles. It's very well thought out but the situation they are in is very upsetting!

Quality post-apocolyptic anime
A piece of top-notch anime. Personally loved the sense of bleakness, reinforced by the perfect artwork for the plot. The two lead characters were engaging, and fitted the story.
