As a speech therapist, my kids love these! I hide targeted words/sounds in them, or mini objects for language targets. Durable, a great size, and kids love them! These are one of my favorite Learning Resources toys.

3 year old loved using the tools and was enamored by the gems! Good for learning motor skills and practicing colors and shapes. It's a bit tricky to close the geodes again, which may need adult supervision. Great gift!

My son is 3 and autistic . He struggles with fine motor task and staying focused . He loves these and within days of playing with them he can open them with minimal help . I think these are challenging for kids to figure out but not too challenging where they’re very frustrated . And honestly they’re just really fun to break open. They will not open if you try with your hands which is awesome because it forced my son to have to learn how to use the tools . They will however open if they’re thrown .

Great kids game to work on problem-solving.

Bought these for my 2 year olds birthday and he LOVES them! His occupational therapist uses them so I knew I couldn’t go wrong. But seriously, such a cute toy and keeps my son actually entertained. The gems are small so you definitely have to keep an eye on smaller toddlers, but I’m sure that’s why the age says 3+. They’re very durable and great quality. My son loves the vibrant colors and shapes.

Absolutely love these for my toddlers, it keeps them busy and they always want to come back to them!
