Perfect for chickens and very dry as well. Works great and at a good price. Our chickens like it and works for pet bedding too. Absorbs moisture and provides cushion for eggs.

SO easy to use. Seriously just cut open, dump out in chicken coop, and evenly distribute with a raker. Sprinkle some nesting herbs on top for some extra freshness, but this product already smells clean and feels nice and fluffy. Work well with the deep litter method.

I would say the majority of this bedding is uniform shavings. However, I would say about 5% is larger pieces of wood, woodchips, dust and I did find fine plastic. Not an insanely large issue, but worth mentioning to potential buyers that there is a very small issue with quality control. That being said, the price is right - can be shipped right to my door and for the most part, is what it says it is. I will still purchase in the future.

I use these in my chickens laying boxes, and after trying straw, these are so much softer and they do not have a strong smell. The size of them are not too big, but not too small so I don’t worry about the chickens eating them and they’re able to shape their little nest the way they want it. Also, this bag has lasted me pretty long because it’s compacted so much in there very durable. Flakes!

Excellent bedding for my chicken coop.

I love getting this for my chickens. It's cheaper than buying in the store. I've had no problems with the quality. It keeps the coop nice and dry, very effective.
