Depends how big the rooms are lol, i can get about 15 metres before it starts getting choppy

dont think so! unless the headphones are activly amplified. but never tried it.

This is a preamplifier with two inputs. One is fir a Bluetooth device such as an iPhone, the other a line input such as the trout from a CD player. You can select between inputs. The box has a volume control . The output from this biz should feed the line input of a power amplifier or active loudspeakers - ie speakers with built I. Amplifiers.

There is no standby. While bluetooth is selected via the switch, it will immediately connect and play (if previously paired).
