Q: Can you use parchment paper to make fruit leather in this dehydrator?

I had two of these which were faulty and I had to return so if you haven't bought one yet I'd suggest looking at another product. However, if you already own one then I don't see why you couldn't make fruit leather in it. Just heep your fruit evenly spaced apart.

Q: can you dehydrate pastas and dishes to take camping or is it mostly fruit?

I have only dried fruit and thinly sliced meat. I don't think pasta dishes would work. They are rather bulky, and unlikely to rehydrate very easily. Why not just, take a tin of sauce or tomatoes when you go camping and cook your pasta as normal ?

Q: How does the moist air exit the device?

There are lots of vents on each tray

Q: I see that someone else has asked if they buy additional trays. I have tried looking up the manufacturer to no avail. Anyone know ?

I am surprised that the Manufacturers did not respond. However I think that extra trays might overload the machine and it would take longer to complete the drying process.. Why not just dry things in batches? I have dried things straight from the freezer and it works fine.
