I only needed to finish the 1” thick walnut tops of two dressers. I was hesitant to get this bit due to its price. I am pleasantly surprised that it performs beautifully. It leaves clean, crisp cuts that I would expect from a much more expensive bit.

I was building a bar top from a tree that fell on my property. And when it came to the bar rail I was just going to buy it. But when I saw the price of bar rail trim these days I decided to make my own.Then bit gave me the detail that I was looking for and with out busting the bank to do it.

I have bought a lot of Yonico bits in the last few years and they have equalled some of the more expensive bits i used to buy. Plus I get them very quick. They have some distinctive profiles which I have been looking for also

Cuts the profile I wanted it to and with no tear out in curly maple. I didn't use it enough to evaluate how long it stays sharp, but it was very good out of the box.

Nice bit, sharp and performed well on my project. Would buy again if I needed to. I’m a garage hobbyist so it should last a long time for me. Hope that helps.

I read the reviews before purchasing this bit, they weren't hopeful. It was the only one I could find with a 3/8" radius. As suggested, it's not very sharp. I sent it to my sharpening company and it has come back still not very sharp. My guess is the grade of carbide used is low. I had to settle with a bit from a major manufacturer which is sharp but has a 29/32 radius. Larger than I wanted.To the manufacturer; You spent all that effort making what appears to be a nicely machined router bit blank only to make it worthless by cheating on the most important part of the bit, the cutting edge. Raise the price and buy the best grade of carbide you can get.

This well-made and sturdy bit produce nice clean edges.

This item arrived earlier than anticipated, was super sharp and did the job it was intended for.
