For those who can't see which of the products I am using, I have the Hyaluronic Acid Ampoule.I've had dry skin all my life, but it started getting slowly worse in my 20s. Drug store products, natural products, everything I was trying was barely working to maintain my skin so that it didn't get worse. I entered my 30s and fell pregnant and for me, the old wife's tale that "girls steal your beauty" was very true. My skin was so shaken by the pregnancy hormones that I didn't do anything other than jojoba oil and Simple brand cream the whole time. Just thinking about makeup broke my skin out. Since having my daughter a year ago, I've been struggling to repair my skin and work on getting it healthy and more hydrated.I've tried so many products and nothing was working. Even the "fool proof" serum+cream duo the JCPenny girl recommended. I had been reading about the Korean Skincare regimen and decided I would dive into that. It's not cheap to start up, so I am just buying a few products at a time, targeting my needs by level of importance. This was one of my top priorities after the obligatory cleansers & sunscreen. I am LOVING it!Going into this, I had dry skin, so dry in fact that even in a humid summer my normally oily T zone hasn't been oily once. My skin very literally feels like construction paper. It's such a rough texture. It looks dull and lifeless. Add that to the dark circles caused by no sleep from teething and I look like I'm about 45 years old instead of 32. I started using the Hyaluronic Acid Ampoule and right away my skin looked and felt amazing. I saw progress within one use.I've been using this twice a day for a week now and I love the results. My skin already looks quite a bit more hydrated and is slowly starting to feel more hydrated as well. The glow is returning. I tried only using it once a day twice this past week and still saw the results I was looking for. Once I have a more hydrating cream and lotion I think that I can drop to using it once a day with no issues, in the meantime I will keep up with twice a day.This really goes a long way and absorbs into my skin very quickly. It feels a bit tacky until it's sunk in, but it only takes 10-15 seconds to absorb unless my skin is still damp from the toner. It's also making my other products go farther. It leaves a small film on your skin. You don't feel it really, but you can tell it's there. It almost feels like you used a mattifying primer. It seems to allow my emulsion and lotion/cream spread across my skin easier. I'm not needing to use as much product and it feels like it's working better on my skin without weighing it down too much.While I do feel that I am using a bit more of this than I was my expensive Western hydrating serum, this is also a quarter of the price and works significantly better. Even at the rate I am using this, I will still end up spending half of what I would've been with that other serum. I very highly recommend this to anyone who needs some added moisture in their routine, no matter if it needs to be a permanent fixture or a seasonal thing.

I had damaged, dry skin from previous over-use of retinol products and stripping acids. You know how when you break your moisture barrier and your skin soaks up your moisturizers way too quickly? Yeah, I had to apply like 2-3 coats of extra moisturizer AND a watermelon overnight mask and my skin would still be dry and flakey in the morning. The light wrinkles I have were getting so much worse, and my skin felt itchy.I got desperate, changed my pillowcase, fixed routine several times to stuff that was as gentle and nourishing as possible and stayed on my routine- but my skin was STILL dryer than it should be. I can't afford to go to the dermatologist, and it would be a few months before I'd get my first GP.Then, I found out other people were having this problem through Tiktok. So I did some research and got this snail mucin late January. Immediately started using it. At first, I didn't notice much of a difference. But when I say keep going, I mean it- consistency is key and this product WILL work if you give it time.For me (and I'm sure my moisture barrier was vEry bad), it took a little less than two months. After using this product (first thing on my skin, twice a day, eventually once a day) for almost two months, my moisture barrier is completely repaired. My skin feels supple even after I stopped using this product in late March, and I'm no longer waking up with dry flakey skin!!For the record, I never changed my gentle routine while I was using this product. I have used the same products the whole time (Vitamin C, Belif, Aveeno), so I know it was this snail mucin doing the magic! I actually am able to get away with using SO MUCH LESS moisturizer on the daily, now that my skin has healed.I continue to have consistently bouncy, happy skin now. Thank goodness for the people who came up with this stuff!
